Individual Art Therapy Sessions

I provide one-on-one art therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of children aged 1 to 18 years and adults. Whether you’re navigating trauma, managing anxiety, or exploring self-expression, these sessions are designed to support your personal journey. My approach combines trauma-informed care with CBT-focused techniques, incorporating a variety of art mediums to encourage creativity and emotional healing. These sessions offer a safe and nurturing space for individuals to heal, grow, and discover their inner resilience.

What to expect in an individual session

I take a person-centred approach to expressive arts therapy, creating a supportive and nurturing space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. In our first session, we’ll discuss what has brought you to therapy and identify the areas you hope to work through together. Your therapy journey will be uniquely tailored to your needs, incorporating a variety of artistic mediums, movement, mindfulness practices, and elements of talk therapy to ensure a holistic and individualised experience.

A wide range of materials and creative tools will be available, allowing for exploration and self-expression in ways that feel meaningful and comfortable for you. To support ongoing development, I provide written reports every 4–6 weeks. These reports summarise the themes and activities from our sessions, highlight progress made, and outline key insights or areas for continued focus. This collaborative and dynamic approach ensures that your therapy evolves with your needs, empowering you every step of the way.
